1. Warranty Period

• Most electrical components are covered for 24 months from the installation date, or up to 36 months from the production date.
  
  
• The compressor and electrode plates are covered for 60 months from the installation date, or up to 65 months from production.
  
  
• The RO membrane is covered for 3 months, or up to 6,000 liters of purified water, whichever comes first.
  
  
• Certain plastic components, filters, and packaging are not covered by the warranty.
  
  

Note: Clearance products are covered for 12 months from the date of installation.

2. Conditions for Free Warranty

Products are eligible for free warranty service if all the following conditions are met:

• The product is within the valid warranty period.
  
  
• The warranty has been activated or accompanied by a valid invoice or warranty card.
  
  
• Warranty seals and serial numbers are intact and have not been altered or removed.
  
  
• The product is used for the correct purpose and in accordance with the user manual.
  
  
• The malfunction is due to a technical defect from the manufacturer, confirmed by an authorized Karofi technician.
  
  

3. Cases Not Covered by Warranty

The warranty does not apply in the following situations:

• The product is outside the warranty period or not listed as a covered component.
  
  
• Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, environmental conditions (e.g. flooding, lightning, pests), or external impact.
  
  
• Use of non-Karofi or non-Korihome accessories.
  
  
• Tampering, unauthorized repairs, or modification of the product.
  
  
• Removed, damaged, or altered warranty seals or serial numbers.
  
  
• Use of unqualified water sources (e.g. high TDS levels, untreated well water).
  
  
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, discoloration, or natural wear and tear.
  
  

If any of these cases apply, repair or replacement will be subject to additional charges.

4. Warranty Service Process

• Contact Karofi Customer Support via hotline at 1900 6418 or email support@karofi.com.
  
  
• Provide purchase invoice and product serial number.
  
  
• A Karofi technician will assess the issue and determine whether the service will be provided onsite or at an authorized service center.
  
  

5. Exchange Policy

For Unused Products:

Customers can request an exchange within 7 days of purchase if:

• The product has not been installed or used.
  
  
• The product is confirmed by a Karofi technician to be in new condition.
  
  
• Seals and warranty stamps are intact.
  
  
• The desired replacement product is in stock.
  
  
• The customer pays any price difference and a 20% restocking fee.
  
  

For Used Products:

Products may be exchanged within 15 days of purchase if:

• There is a manufacturer defect that cannot be repaired.
  
  
• The product is genuine and registered for warranty.
  
  
• All original components and documentation are intact.
  
  
• Cosmetic condition is acceptable.
  
  

The replacement product will continue the remaining warranty period of the original product.

6. Exchange Not Accepted If:

• Product failure is due to customer misuse or improper installation.
  
  
• Warranty activation was not completed or documentation is missing.
  
  
• The product has external damage (scratches, cracks, stains) caused after delivery.
  
  
• Consumable parts such as filters or accessories are damaged.
